4) How does the money raised help our kids?
Your donations will empower BBBS of NYC to change the lives of more children and mentors by matching them in mentoring relationships.
Any team or individual who raises $1,600 will sponsor a mentoring match for a year. The cost to service a mentoring match for one year is $1,600; this includes professional mentor match supervision, extensive volunteer screening and other services for the entire family. As a match sponsor, you will receive a profile of a match in our program and learn firsthand how BBBS of NYC positively impacts the community. At BBBS of NYC, we know that the best way to help one is to add another. Your donation has the power to change the lives of disadvantaged children in New York City. Adopt a match and experience the power.
By participating in our Race, you will enhance the lives of children who may not otherwise have had the chance to benefit from the support and friendship of a caring mentor as well as every life that child touches now and in the future.
